If you want to grow spiritually, there is an important thing you need to have: a community. By community, I mean a small group of people that support one another.
If we want to thrive, we should build our lives on a strong foundation. When it comes to foundation, I believe that the best foundation is the Word of God. We should build our lives on God’s Word. We should base everything we do on it.
Today I’d like to share something with you from Hosea 6:3:
Let us know; let us press on to know the LORD; His going out is sure as the dawn; He will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.”
Here we are now in the last quarter of this year. 2020 is just three months away. Time flies, doesn’t it? It reminds me of this verse in the Bible:
So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Discipleship is essential if you want to reach your full potential in Christ. Christ talked about it in Matthew 28:19-20:
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
To live more like Jesus, I believe that we should all learn to know His heart.

There is one thing that should mark our lives. There is one thing that you and I should always have. That one thing is joy.
You see, joy is rare in this world. Not many people have it. Even when they do, it’s temporary. They have it for a while when they get something they want. But then it goes away. That, of course, is not true joy.
