Have you ever felt weary in your life? I have. In such a time, you might feel like you work hard but get nothing in return. You might feel tired and frustrated.
Fortunately, the Scripture gives us a solution. We can read it in Isaiah 40:30-31:
Have you ever felt weary in your life? I have. In such a time, you might feel like you work hard but get nothing in return. You might feel tired and frustrated.
Fortunately, the Scripture gives us a solution. We can read it in Isaiah 40:30-31:
One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Proverbs 3:5:
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
In my opinion, this verse is powerful. It gives us the advice we need to deal with difficult situations in life.
Today I’d like to share with you about loving the Word of God. It’s a topic that’s close to my heart, especially because the name of this website is Fresh Scripture 🙂
I believe that loving the Word of God is essential for living a full life in Christ. It’s not enough just to know the Word. It’s not enough just to read it. We need to love it. It has to become a source of joy for us. This is what the Bible says in Psalms 1:1-3:
In my previous post, I wrote about the blessing of extraordinary peace. It’s taken from Philippians 4:7:
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
In reality, however, we might find ourselves in the opposite condition. Instead of living in God’s peace, we live in worry. Instead of being joyful, we are anxious. We don’t have the peace of God in our hearts. Instead, we have all kinds of negative thoughts.
We are getting close to the end of the year. In just a little while, we are going to enter 2017.
I wanted to share something with you related to the new year. And as I was thinking about it, the topic of peace came to my mind.
Welcome to Fresh Scripture! I’m glad to have you here.
