Today I’d like to share with you about setting our hearts on the right thing. This is what the Scripture says in Psalms 62:10:
Do not trust in oppression, Nor vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, Do not set your heart on them.
The last part of the verse says: If riches increase, Do not set your heart on them.
I have a topic that came to my mind recently. The topic is being a disciple.
This is what I learned:
It’s not enough just to believe in Jesus; we need to become His disciples.
This is what Jesus says in Matthew 28:19-20:
There is no doubt that hope is something that we all need in life. Why? Because there are times when we have to go through dark valleys in life. There are times when our situation seems hopeless.
In such a time, more than anything else, we need hope. We need to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
If you want to live your spiritual life to the full, there is one thing you need to do: building spiritual discipline. The fact is, you can’t just go through life and hope to grow spiritually. No. You need to set some rules for yourself. You need to have spiritual discipline.
As you might know, there is now a Fresh Scripture podcast. Today I’d like to share the second episode with you. This episode is about how to overcome worry and live in God’s peace. It’s taken from Philippians 4:6-7:
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Podcasting is new to me; I’m still learning to do it right. So feel free to send me your feedback.
From reading the Scripture, it’s clear that prayer plays an important role in our lives. Prayer makes a real difference, and if we don’t tap into the power of prayer, we are losing something. James 5:16 says:
The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
In the next two verses, it gives the example of Elijah:
This week is special because we are in the Holy Week, the week leading to Easter. On Friday, we will have Good Friday where we commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus. On Sunday, we will have Easter where we celebrate His resurrection.
As I was thinking about the meaning of these events, this phrase came to my mind: “the greatest love of all.”
Today I’d like to share with you about the heart of giving. I believe that it’s an important aspect of living our lives in Christ.
The fact is, God has blessed us abundantly. He has given us extraordinary peace. He has also given us financial blessings. Now that we have been blessed, it’s our turn to bless others with what God has given us. The Scripture says:
